Today one of the homeschool groups we belong to met for an afternoon of ice skating. Miss M had a blast! I'm glad we went because we were able to replace a bad experience with a great one...lots of smiles & laughter. The first, and only other, time we went skating at the new rink, Miss M had a seizure, and we had to leave. It warmed my heart to watch her have a fun, care-free afternoon with friends.
I shot this photo with my 50mm f/1.8 lens. I don't know if I've mentioned before how much I LOVE this lens! I have another photo I took with my 18-55mm kit lens, and the difference in sharpness is striking. I love shooting with a short depth of field, and this lens is perfect for that!
