Rx

7/366

Today's photo captures a twice daily event that's 10 years in the making. We're coming up on the 10-year "anniversary" of Miss M's brain tumor diagnosis. We were led to this diagnosis because she started suffering from seizures. Since then she has taken a morning & an evening dose of seizure medication. The type of medication has changed over the years...Dilantin, Tegretol, Trileptal, Keppra. As she got older we moved from a liquid to a pill form. Hallelujah! A second medication has also been added to better control the seizures. But, twice a day, she pauses & swallows these 5 pills (6 in the evening). I haven't mentioned it here yet, but she's my hero.
